Foil Me Review – Glamour Doll Eyes

Now you can apply your mineral eyeshadows wet or dry! “Foil Me” is a new product from Glamour Doll Eyes that can be applied with any mineral eyeshadow for a more dramatic look. Glamour Doll Eyes offers the “foil me” product in two forms: a dropper ($4.50), and a tube ($5.25). The actual product is the same just in different packaging.

The application is “foil me” is actually quite simple. First you apply a primer. (the product should be applied with a primer for the best application) Then, you apply a tiny bit of the product onto your eyelid. Wait a couple of seconds for the gel to become tacky before applying your eyeshadows. If you still don’t get it how this product works, don’t worry! All “Foil Me” tubes come with instructions for using the product.

Along with the tube we also received six eyeshadows to try: (from left to right) Behind The Scenes, Incognito, Hot Pants, Tabloid, Just Dance!, and All Nighter. You can see the difference between a normal application (left) and the “Foil Me” application (right).

After trying the product it is clear what a big difference it makes in your eyeshadow application. While the product does seem to work better on lighter, brighter colors it works on any shade.

Our opinion? “Foil Me” is a great product for creating dramatic looks with mineral eyeshadows. Sometimes it is difficult to apply mineral eyeshadows without creating a mess, but this innovative product changes that. The eyeshadows pretty much “stick” to the product. A little bit of “Foil Me” will last you all day. For $5.25 this product is a steal! With that being said, there is really nothing negative to say about this product. The only smallcomplaint is that it does has a slight odor but nothing that will drive you crazy. The smell also disappears once you apply the product onto your eyes.

Product: “Foil Me”
Price: $5.25
Ingredients: Water, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polysorbate 20, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben and Propylparaben.

I like, but just a tip when taking pics can you either make them bigger and swatch less colors at a time. It would make it more eye friendly and cleaner. Like your website. :D
